Despite a busy summer of big investments and new arrivals, Napoli are not giving up on the players who led them to two Scudetto victories in three years, and as reported in August, are ready to officially extend the contracts of Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Amir Rrahmani.

Napoli ready to lock down Anguissa and Rrahmani

Napoli have agreements in place for the renewals of both Anguissa and Rrahmani until 2028 and 2029 respectively. Both deals will include options for additional 12 months.

Anguissa, towards the end of the 2024-25 season, had briefly considered moving on for a new experience elsewhere, but Napoli have always been keen to keep him on board.

The Partenopei have been pleased with his performances, and see him as a key midfielder in Antonio Conte’s project.

Now, an announcement from the club is all that is missing before the extension is made official. The same also goes for Rrahmani. Both players are considered increasingly important to the team at the Stadio Maradona.
