Napoli: ‘Gattuso not positive for Covid’

Napoli came out with their first statement in almost 24 hours to deny that their coach Gennaro Gattuso has tested positive for Coronavirus.

“The news of Gattuso testing positive for Covid-19 is not real. The group will undergo new Covid swab tests tomorrow," Napoli tweeted. 

Napoli are not travelling to Turin where they are due to face Juventus tonight.

The Lega Calcio has rejected the Azzurri’s request to postpone the game and Napoli could be handed a 3-0 defeat by defeault.
