Antonio Conte’s Napoli beat Serie B team Mantova 3-0 in today’s friendly with Jesper Lindstrom, Leonardo Spinazzola and Walid Cheddira goals, but Giovanni Simeone sustained an injury.

Spinazzola sprung the offside trap after a well-worked team move, culminating in the Cheddira lob over the defence.

Morocco international Cheddira was voted Man of the Match, impressing in a False 9 role that saw him pressing the opposition defenders and midfielders constantly.

He added the third goal of the match on the half-volley from a cleared corner, also coming close in several other situations.

Only Amir Rrahmani, Lindstrom and Iaccarino remained for the start of the second half and Simeone lasted just 15 minutes before falling awkwardly and sustaining a muscular problem.
