Napoli are reportedly only a step away from finalising a deal for Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Gianluca Di Marzio details how the Partenopei are in constant contact with both Spurs and the Frenchman’s entourage as they work to complete the final details of the deal. The breakthrough came yesterday, when an agreement was finally reached between the two clubs.
Ndombele is set to join Napoli on a €1m loan deal with a €30m buy option attached, adding an experienced option to Luciano Spalletti’s midfield. The Frenchman has never particularly lived up to his €60m price tag in North London and he’ll be hoping to relaunch his career in Campania.
Napoli will schedule Ndombele’s medicals soon and they’re ready to welcome the 25-year-old, keen to integrate him into the squad ahead of their next match against Monza on Sunday.
The French midfielder failed to convince Antonio Conte in North London last season and he was sent back to Lyon on a six-month loan deal.
