Napoli fans are notoriously the most superstitious in the sport, so seeing singer Drake wear their classic kit prompted fears the Scudetto could be at risk from ‘The Drake Curse.’

The image of Drake wearing a classic Buitoni sponsor jacket from the Diego Armando Maradona era was posted on his Instagram page and appeared to be from rehearsals or a recording studio.

Drake is known to be a big fan of various sports, but the feeling is not mutual, as he has long been associated with a ‘curse’ on teams and individuals.

There was a meme of sports stars who posed for pictures with Drake only to then lose their matches, while he lost huge bets in the thousands on Formula One and UFC.

Napoli are currently running away at the top of the Serie A table and into the Champions League Round of 16, so naturally seeing this image got their fans worried.

There were several tweets and Instagram messages concerned ‘the curse is about to kick in’ and lose them the Scudetto.

Neapolitans are the most superstitious people in Italy, which is already probably the most superstitious country in Europe.
