Napoli have reportedly started to explore a move for Jens Cajuste and may contact Stade Reims in the coming days.

The Partenopei have been incredibly quiet in the summer transfer window, mostly working on shoring up their current stars like Victor Osimhen and Piotr Zielinski, working on new deals for both.

The club sold Kim Min-Jae to Bayern Munich for around €50m earlier this month and have identified RC Lens’ Kevin Danso as their preferred replacement. In the meantime, they are also working to bolster their midfield.

Francesco Guerrieri of Calciomercato.com detailed how Napoli have opened talks with Cajuste’s entourage to start sounding out a possible move this summer, keen to understand the margins of a deal.

Stade Reims are open to a sale with the right offer and the Partenopei may open talks in the coming days.

Cajuste, who is contracted to the Ligue 1 side until 2026, scored four goals and provided one assist in 33 appearances across all competitions, impressing as a defensive midfielder.
