Faouzi Ghoulam is also expected to leave Napoli in the near future.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Azzurri have set sights on both Emerson and Firpo who are tempted to leave their clubs as they want to have more game time.

Firpo, 24, has played 246 minutes in all competitions so far this season. Barcelona signed him from Betis for €18m in summer 2019 and the Spaniard has only managed two assists and one goal in 30 appearances since.

Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri is also being linked with a move to Campania.

The Italy international, 26, has played 418 minutes across all competitions with the Blues so far this season, but his agent has recently turned down rumours of a possible Stamford Bridge exit in January as the former Roma player has a “good relationship” with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.

Inter are also being linked with welcoming the player’s services in the winter transfer window.
