Napoli have reportedly started exploring a possible deal for Keylor Navas as they continue to slowly work on a move for Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Partenopei are desperately searching for a new goalkeeper as the Serie A season rapidly approaches, with Luciano Spalletti being left with limited options. David Ospina left the club on a free transfer last month and Alex Meret is on the verge of completing a loan move to Spezia, leaving them without an option between the sticks.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are fans of Navas and have opened talks to explore a move for the 35-year-old Costa Rican shot stopper, who seems likely to leave PSG this summer after being forced to share his starting spot with Gianluigi Donnarumma last season.
The Campania side are still trying to agree a deal with Chelsea for Kepa, but things are moving slowly at this stage. The two clubs are discussing a loan deal that would see the Premier League side pay part of the 27-year-old’s salary.
