Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has started to explore a move for outgoing Tottenham midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso.

Spurs have transfer listed the 26-year-old Argentinian, ready to sell as they re-focus their project under Antonio Conte. Lo Celso was heavily linked with a move to Fiorentina earlier this summer but the Viola failed to agree a deal.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have asked for information about Lo Celso as they consider making a move for him, possibly to replace West Ham target Piotr Zielinski.

Tottenham have made it clear that they want around €20-22m for the 26-year-old Argentinian midfielder, forcing the Partenopei to heavily consider it. La Repubblica report that the North London side would be open to a loan deal.

Lo Celso started last season with Spurs but was sent to Villarreal on loan in the January transfer window after failing to convince Conte. He made 15 appearances in La Liga, scoring one goal and providing one assist in that time.
