Napoli have named Bartosz Bereszynski in their squad for tomorrow’s trip to Sampdoria, so he could debut against his former teammates.

It kicks off on Sunday at 17.00 GMT.

Luciano Spalletti announced the travelling party that will head to the Stadio Ferraris, also known as Marassi, in Genoa.

It includes full-back Bereszynski, who has only today completed his transfer to Napoli from Sampdoria, with Alessandro Zanoli going the other way.

It means the Poland international could make his Napoli debut against the teammates he left only hours ago, having experienced his first training session with the Partenopei this morning.

Diego Demme is in the squad despite negotiations for a move to Adana Demirspor, while Gianluca Gaetano returns after missing the defeat to Inter with a stomach bug.

Napoli suffered their first Serie A loss of the season at San Siro and saw their lead at the top of the table sliced down to five minutes.

Napoli squad for Sampdoria: Marfella, Meret, Sirigu; Bereszynski, Di Lorenzo, Juan Jesus, Kim Min-jae, Mario Rui, Mathias Olivera, Ostigard, Rrahmani, Zedadka; Anguissa, Demme, Elmas, Gaetano, Lobotka, Ndombele, Zerbin, Zielinski; Kvaratskhelia, Lozano, Osimhen, Politano, Raspadori, Simeone
