Though Napoli have an agreement in principle with former Italy, Juventus, Inter and Chelsea coach Antonio Conte, there are still a few minor details that need to be resolved before an official announcement is made.

According to reports in Italy on Monday, it could still take another few days before an official agreement is reached between the two parties, as directors and lawyers from Napoli work out the complexities of the last remaining details.

Napoli and Conte have already reached a general agreement on figures relating to salary. It is widely expected that the 54-year-old will become one of the highest paid coaches in Serie A.

It is also understood that the coach will sign a three-year deal at the Stadio Maradona.

What needs to happen before full agreement between Napoli and Conte

The big issue that still needs to be resolved relates to image rights, according to Monday’s reports. Conte would like to have full control of those.

The club and coach are also reportedly still discussing potential penalty fees, in the event that either party decides to terminate the agreement ahead of schedule, or if certain sporting objectives are not met, for example.

  1. what do you mean? he is one of the best coach in the world. even though he demand the club a lot because he like specifics tactical play that required some players who fit to his style. the doubt is ADL rarely listen to coach demand. contrary to believe, napoli a actually spending for player even not so much but ADL rarely buy player based on what coach need for his style instead buying player not suited to coach style that will be problem with conte approach.
