According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Napoli are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ winger Adama Traore as a free agent in the summer.

The Spain international’s current deal runs out in the summer and the pink paper suggests the Partenopei are considering signing the ex-Barcelona loanee on a free transfer in June.

Adama has scored two goals in 14 appearances across all competitions this season after his return from a six-month spell at Barcelona.

Napoli will be looking for a new right winger next season, especially if Hirving Lozano leaves the Stadio Maradona in June.

The Mexico internationals’ contract with the Partenopei expires in 2024 and talks over a new deal have not begun yet.

According to the report, Adama is not the only option for Napoli as their director Cristiano Giuntoli is also an admirer of Betis’ winger Luiz Henrique.

However, the 21-year-old would be a more expensive purchase, given that his contract runs out in June 2028.
