Napoli have reportedly made it clear to Paris Saint-Germain that they’re only willing to pay 25% of Keylor Navas’ wages in a possible loan deal.

The Partenopei are seemingly searching for a new shot stopper this month to pair up with veteran backup Salvatore Sirigu. Current number one Alex Meret has not convinced Luciano Spalletti, so Napoli have had their eye on both Navas and Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga as they look for alternative options.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are only willing to pay around 25% of Navas’ €9m net per season salary, and they’ve communicated this to PSG. A response is expected at some point in the coming days, with the Ligue 1 side keen to re-home the Costa Rican soon.

The wages would also be a problem if Napoli went for Kepa, so it’s clear that they’ll need some help from either club should one of these two transfers occur.
