Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti hasn’t always had the best relationship with the media, but he did give everyone at his final press conference of the season a bottle of his own wine.
The tactician has complained that the newspapers and radio stations in Naples have not been kind to his stewardship at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona during this debut campaign.
Nonetheless, he thanked them for their work by giving out a bottle of wine to everyone at the final pre-match press conference of the season.
It is a very special bottle, because the Tuscan red called Bordocampo (Italian for touchline) is made by Spalletti’s own vineyard.
The Partenopei finished Spalletti’s first season in third place in Serie A and their final match will be away from home, a trip to Spezia on Sunday afternoon.
He spent a lot of time on his vineyard in Tuscany after he was sacked by Inter to make way for Antonio Conte and took two years out from his football career.
Grazie a #LucianoSpalletti per il gentile pensiero avuto nei confronti della stampa @napolimagazine @sscnapoli #spalletti pic.twitter.com/DgvsvYe4R4
