Ibrahima Bamba already earned his first senior Italy call and the Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder has caught the attention of Napoli, Atalanta, Bologna and Arsenal.

According to Sportitalia, all the clubs are only looking towards him for the summer and are laying the groundwork during this January transfer window.

They are well aware he is expected to raise his profile over the next few months, especially if he gets another call from Italy coach Roberto Mancini.

The 20-year-old was born in Vercelli, near Turin, and as in the Pro Vercelli youth academy until his move to Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal in 2020.

He only recently signed a new contract to June 2026, so the other clubs are in no rush to make an offer now.

So far this season Bamba has made 23 competitive appearances for Vitoria Guimaraes.

He can also play as a centre-back when needed and Napoli could turn to him after missing out on Azzedine Ounahi to Olympique Marseille.
