Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli are preparing to face a crucial month with games against Inter, Milan and Barcelona.

The Partenopei sit second in the Serie A table, just four behind leaders Inter.

Simone Inzaghi’s side has a game in hand, but the two clubs will meet in a crucial fixture at the Stadio Maradona on February 12.

Napoli had a terrific start to the season, but their unbeaten run finished at the end of November in an away clash against Inter.

They suffered a 3-2 defeat and lost their best scorer Victor Osimhen due to a cheekbone injury.

Other crucial players had been forced to the sidelines in the following weeks: Kalidou Koulibaly, Zambo Anguissa, Lorenzo Insigne and Fabian Ruiz spent considerable time on the treatment table and the Partenopei only collected three points in five Serie A matches in December.

Their results improved in January with the return to action of some of their stars. Napoli earned ten points from the last five games, winning the last three in a row.

They return to the pitch on Sunday, February 6, away at Venezia before hosting Inter at the Stadio Maradona (January 12) and visiting Barcelona in the first leg of the Europa League knockout round play-off.

Three days later, they play against their former coach Walter Mazzarri in Cagliari before meeting Barcelona again.

The last game of February is against another familiar face: Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio, while March begins with a home clash against Milan.

The next month will be decisive to understand what Napoli can achieve this season, both in Serie A and Europe.

  1. Its funny how your other article reads are Milan at risk of not getting Champions league but yet napoli have had all these injuries etc.

Milan have had the most injuries, covid outbreaks this season and we are level pegging with Napoli, but yet because milan didnt buy anyone in January we are at risk well guess what Napoli didnt buy anyone either and we would be above them if Kessie’s goal stood against them in the 1-0 defeat.

Honestly what a stupid write up!!! This one and the one regarding Milan
