Empoli confirm that Napoli “asked for Elseid Hysaj and Riccardo Saponara,” but transfers are not imminent.
The pair were invited to follow Coach Maurizio Sarri to the Stadio San Paolo.
“Hysaj has been of interest to Napoli for some time, but he is a young player who went through the youth academy in Italy, so I think many teams are eager to get the eight figures they need to fulfil the rules,” director of sport Marcello Carli told Radio Kiss Kiss.
