Napoli are asking for €25m to sell Piotr Zielinski and so far that is too much for Lazio, while they could then send Bari goalkeeper Elia Caprile to Empoli.

The Partenopei presented their new kits for the 2023-24 campaign today and President Aurelio De Laurentiis spoke at a press conference, warning there were players whose contracts were running down and did not have a future at the club.

Those are believed to include Mexico international Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano and midfielder Zielinski.

However, Sky Sport Italia claim this evening that the asking price for Zielinski is €25m and so far that is considered too much for Lazio, even if Maurizio Sarri wants a reunion with the Poland international.

Meanwhile, the same source also notes Napoli plan to bring in Italy Under-21 goalkeeper Caprile from their sister club Bari and then loan him out to Empoli in order to get Serie A experience.

Caprile turns 22 next month and spent time at Chievo and Leeds United academies before moving to Bari in the summer of 2022.
