Napoli will reportedly ask Fulham to sell Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa early at a discount on the €15m price.

The 25-year-old was practically unknown when he arrived on loan on transfer deadline day, chosen because other options had fallen away.

The one-season loan cost just €400,000 with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €15m.

Anguissa has made such an impact that fans are calling their love for him ‘Zambomania.’

He is a regular in the starting XI under coach Luciano Spalletti and earned praise for bringing balance to the midfield.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli are ready to ask Fulham if they can activate their option to buy early, even though they have until June 2022 to make that move stick.

It is hoped that by anticipating the deal to make it a permanent transfer, the Serie A side can get a slight discount on the €15m cost of the operation.

3 thought on “Napoli ask Fulham for early Anguissa deal”
  1. Absolute quality. Really impressed with him so far. I had my doubts whether he could still play at this level and make an impact and by goodness he really has a dribbling ability and calmness to his play.

  2. What if the love of fans will push him to constantly perform?

Besides, Italy is a great place to live your life, unlike England.

    Smart deal by Napoli.
