It has now been announced that the Partenopei will not speak to the media ahead of the Verona game on Sunday, meaning Maurizio Sarri will not deliver his usual pre-match Press conference.
The club will then decide whether to speak to the media after the match, with Sarri himself serving a touchline ban.
The Vesuviani insist the decision has not been taken due to anger over the punishment meted out to Higuain, and is instead to avoid affecting the judgement on their striker.
