Napoli have agreed personal terms with Giacomo Raspadori and are trying to negotiate a transfer fee with Sassuolo.

Neroverdi director of sport Giovanni Carnevali confirmed to Sky Sport Italia yesterday that Napoli have made an approach for Raspadori and they will see how the situation develops.

Now Radio Kiss Kiss – the official radio station of Napoli – report that the 22-year-old has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with the Partenopei.

His contract runs to June 2024 and Raspadori does not seem intent on signing an extension at the Mapei Stadium.

He is from the area and spent his entire career at Sassuolo, making his way through the youth academy all the way to being part of the Italy squad that won EURO 2020 last summer.

Raspadori found the net 10 times with six assists in 36 Serie A appearances last season, where he played as a centre-forward or a support striker.

It is believed that Sassuolo want circa €25m to sell the forward.

  1. They want to sign both Simeone and Raspadori but honestly i don’t get in which position raspadori will play, as offensive midfield in 4-3-3? If so then zieliński or elmas out. Spalletti told that he wants to play 4-3-3 and not 4-2-3-1

  2. Good signing
More goal scorers the better and last time I checked isn’t more goals how u win the game

  3. Well when Osimehn goes to England and Lozano goes to Spain and politano is over the hill then we’ll be happy they made the signings.
