On the same flight were a group of Lazio fans and some of them had choice words for Portugal international Nani, criticising him for his performances.
Nani reportedly reacted and it took seven people to intervene and separate them, including the cabin crew.
When the plane finally landed in Rome, the fan in question was kept behind and allowed to leave only after the squad had disembarked.
