Former Inter and Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan reportedly tested positive on an alcohol test and had his driver’s licence withdrawn for 15 days after speeding in Antwerp.

Nainggolan, who spent the last six months on loan at Cagliari, returned to his homeland this summer and signed with Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Royal Antwerp.

The 33-year-old said he felt ‘betrayed and abandoned’ by the Sardinians after terminating his Inter contract, and thus returned to Antwerp.

But after a few weeks back in Belgium, the midfielder returns to write headlined outside the pitch, as he already admitted he will not give up on his lifestyle.

According to the reports in Belgium from ATV and Nieuwsblad, the player was stopped for speeding by the police at 4am local time, and was then subjected to an alcohol test.

He reportedly tested positive, and his driver’s licence was thus withdrawn for 15 days.

  1. How is this fair justice? Only 15 days for driving whilst over the limit and speeding? What if he hit someone? That’s no deterrent.
