“In terms of character, I think Di Francesco is rather calmer compared to Spalletti. Oftentimes Spalletti would get really worked up because he just read something that was wrong or would hear something and make it a bigger deal than it really was.
“On the other hand, Di Francesco is someone who focuses only on the work. He really believes in what he does and knows what he wants.”
Napoli are currently top of the Serie A table, one point above Juventus, so how does Nainggolan see the title race?
“It all depends on how long Napoli can hold on, how strong their bench is and how much energy they’ve got. Juventus have so many options to choose from, all great players.
“I think Napoli play beautiful football and they are a pleasure to watch, but I don’t know if Napoli can win. Considering the way they are playing at the moment, Napoli have something more than the other teams.”
