The Giallorossi have won just once in 11 games across all competitions, a run of results which cost Coach Rudi Garcia his job, with Luciano Spalletti taking over the Olimpico bench.

This weekend sees the Lupi travel to Turin to take on Juventus, and Nainggolan believes the main difference between the sides is mental.

“They’re used to winning, they’ve always done it in recent years,” the midfielder told Sky.

“They have those memories to call upon which has allowed them to come back and put together an impressive winning streak.

“They’re built to win, as are we, but we’re not used to winning and this year we’ve lacked the consistency of other years.

“Physically we’re fine, we’re lacking the right mentality. When we go ahead and get pegged back it’s a psychological blow.

“We need to improve in that respect, and we want to have our say. We’ve got a new style of play, and I hope something will change.

“It’s an important game, we’re preparing well to pull of a coup there and get closer [to them]. It doesn’t just depend on us though, they’ll have to make mistakes because they’re doing better than anyone.”
