The midfielder was sold last summer as part of a deal that took Nicolò Zaniolo to Roma and their form had many claiming the Giallorossi got the better end of the deal.
He acknowledged that in an interview with Eleven Sports Belgium and assured he is changing his ways after being temporarily frozen out of the team earlier this season.

He acknowledged that in an interview with Eleven Sports Belgium and assured he is changing his ways after being temporarily frozen out of the team earlier this season.
“I didn’t give much importance to my attitude off the pitch, but now I realise at my age it is no longer possible to do that,” said Nainggolan.
“Along with the club, we decided to map out a detailed plan, because I do know I did something wrong. For example, it’s about healthy eating and they now have more control over my diet. I’ve lost weight, feel good and more comfortable in myself.
“It’s possible my lifestyle also contributed to my injuries. I’ve cut down on the smoking… It’s not easy, but it works.”
Nainggolan revealed the reasons behind his push to leave Roma and follow Coach Luciano Spalletti to Sa Siro.
“It was difficult for me and perhaps that’s why I initially struggled to adjust at Inter, as it was preying on my mind. I had a slight disagreement with the director (Monchi). He didn’t behave professionally towards me.
“I certainly made mistakes too, but if you tell me man to man that the club wants me out, fine. Instead, he offered me to all sorts of clubs, wanted to send me to Turkey. Without letting me know anything about it.
“That was really infuriating to me. If I had stayed there with my personality… I would probably have started a World War every day!”
