Former Serie A star Radja Nainggolan has decided to continue his playing career by signing for Indonesian club Bhayangkara Presisi.

The Belgium international is 35 years old and had been out of contract since his deal with Serie B side SPAL expired in July.

He spent most of his career in Italy, joining the Piacenza youth academy in 2004.

Nainggolan moved on through Cagliari, Roma and Inter, returning to Sardinia on loan in 2019.

The midfielder put together 367 Serie A appearances, scoring 48 goals and providing 35 assists, as well as 81 games in Serie B.

Born and raised in Belgium, his father was from Indonesia and left the family very early on, though he had never previously shown much interest in exploring this side of his heritage.

Nainggolan visited Indonesia for the first time in 2013 and will now be playing there for Bhayangkara Presisi, who are currently bottom of the domestic league with just one win in 20 games.
