Radja Nainggolan “can’t wait to start this adventure” after sealing his move to Inter from Roma.
The midfielder has joined the Nerazzurri in a €38m deal, paying €24m cash and sending Nicolò Zaniolo and Davide Santon to the capital club.
“I’m happy to be here, I can’t wait to start this adventure,” Nainggolan said at his presentation Press conference.
“Inter wanted me very much. I hope to win something, also for personal reasons because so far I haven’t managed to do that.

“Inter wanted me very much. I hope to win something, also for personal reasons because so far I haven’t managed to do that.
“I find a Coach here [Luciano Spalletti] who I did very well with before. We can get results, and it’s possible to win something as soon as possible.
“Did Spalletti convince me to come? It wasn’t just that, but it’s certainly good to see him again. I already know the way he works.
“The Coach will decide what I give to the team tactically, he’s smart enough to know.”
Edin Dzeko and Mauro Icardi have similar characteristics, can Nainggolan form a similar relationship with the Beneamata captain?
“For me they’re two great strikers, with different characteristics. Icardi is more about scoring, whereas Dzeko has a different makeup and works more for the team.
“I got on really well with Edin, and I hope it’ll be the same with Mauro.
“I’ve already spoken to him, I told him I was fired-up and he told me he was equally fired-up.
“Who am I looking forward to playing with? Mauro goes without saying, and there are a lot of quality players here.
“When [Ivan] Perisic is on form he can make the difference, and there are many others. I’ll do my best to help them achieve results.”
The Ninja rejected moves away from Roma in the past, and was asked what went wrong between him and the club.
“I don’t want to talk about it too much, I want to look at the present,” Nainggolan said.
“It could have ended differently but I don’t want to say anything more. During the negotiations I called everyone, and it’s very important to feel trusted.
“I hope to repay Inter on the pitch.”
Nainggolan will wear the number 14 shirt, as his usual number 4 has been retired in tribute to Javier Zanetti.
