Napoli and Juventus want Mauro Icardi, but Inter could even let Radja Nainggolan leave on loan after he rejected Jiangsu Suning.

Director Beppe Marotta confirmed to Sky Sport Italia today that the two players are on the transfer market, as they aren’t wanted by new Coach Antonio Conte.

“We had the opportunity to speak to the players themselves, with full respect for their contractual situations, but explained the position of the club, which I think is the most important thing.

“Both players know full well they are not part of our plans. That doesn’t mean we doubt their talent or capabilities, as I consider them to be two excellent players.”

While Napoli and Juve are duelling for Icardi’s signature at a cost of €60m, Nainggolan is seemingly more of a problem, having just arrived from Roma a year ago.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter had tried to offer the Belgian to Jiangsu Suning, a Chinese club owned by the same corporation as the Nerazzurri, but he rejected the move.

It’s suggested Nainggolan could even be allowed to go out on loan, but his €4.5m per year salary limits the clubs open to that idea.

He had repeatedly rejected the Premier League, as he was happy with life in Italy, but being pushed out of Roma first and Inter now could prompt him to change his mind.
