Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann is a huge fan of Italy and Juventus winger Federico Chiesa. ‘He embodies incredible verve and dynamism.’

The 23-year-old is expected to start in the UEFA EURO 2020 Final at Wembley this evening at 20.00 UK time.

“I would definitely want to sign Chiesa,” Nagelsmann told Bild am Sonntag.

“He is a super player, because he embodies incredible verve and dynamism. I’ve known him for a long time and think he’s outstanding, because he’s so carefree, he likes to dribble and goes for the finish quickly.

“However, he also has a very, very big price-tag.”

Juventus paid €20m for the two-year loan with obligation to buy from Fiorentina for another €40m.

Calciomercato.com pointed out this week that Chiesa is absolutely not for sale, and if he were to move, the cost would be at a minimum €90m.

Chiesa, the son of former Italy striker Enrico, scored two goals in EURO 2020 so far and pushed his way into the starting XI, replacing Domenico Berardi.

During the regular 2020-21 season, he found the net 15 times with 11 assists in 46 competitive appearances for Juventus.
