Zlatan Ibrahimovic reduced a Juventus teammate to tears by dangling him out of a second-floor window by his feet, claims Adrian Mutu.

The 41-year-old Swede is still playing for Milan and won the Scudetto last season, but is currently recovering from knee surgery and is expected to return in 2023.

He started his Serie A career at Juventus in 2004 after making the move from Ajax and switched to rivals Inter in 2006 after the Calciopoli scandal.

During that two-year stay in Turin, Ibra was already known for throwing his weight around in the locker room, but Mutu revealed an astonishing story while speaking to a Romanian podcast.

He claims midfielder Manuele Blasi said that Ibrahimovic and Mutu were ‘out of it’ after the Swede reached around the back of the Romanian to give a cheeky slap in the back of the head to Pavel Nedved.

It was during a training retreat in Austria ahead of the Champions League match against Rapid Vienna.

“Zlatan told me to open the door in our room. I looked outside, we were on the second floor,” said Mutu.

“Blasi crossed the corridor, Zlatan grabs him, takes him into the room and pushes him out of the window. When Ibrahimovic got his hands on you, there was nothing you could do, because he was big and really strong.

“He dangled Blasi out of the window, holding him just from his feet, and said: ‘Anything more to comment?’ Blasi was shouting, I kept hold of Zlatan.

“When he got back inside, he instantly burst into tears and said: ‘You lot are not healthy in the head, what kind of a prank is that?’”

It’s not the first time Ibrahimovic has been known to get a little hands-on in his pranks, famously putting Milan teammate Gennaro Gattuso head-first into a wheelie bin.
