According to multiple reports in Italy, Shkodran Mustafi is set to undergo his medicals with Torino ahead of a free transfer.
Mustafi’s contract with Schalke 04 expired in June and Torino had been in talks with the former Arsenal and Sampdoria man for a long time.
Now, according to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia, the Granata have finally managed to reach an agreement with the 2014 Germany World Cup winner, who will undergo his medicals later today.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports Mustafi’s father arrived in Italy today and his son will complete his medical examinations with the Granata this evening.
Mustafi is the second signing completed by Torino in the last 24 hours as the Serie A side have also secured the services of Dennis Praet on loan with an option to buy from Leicester City.
Mustafi returns to Italy after his three-year loan at Sampdoria. He played 53 games with the Blucerchiati between 2011 and 2014 before joining Valencia and Arsenal.
