Reports in the UK state that Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is moving closer to a move to Inter.

The Nerazzurri met with intermediaries for the German centre-back last night, as they look to secure a loan move with an option to buy.

Now The Sun is reporting that a deal is very close, as Mustafi has agreed contract terms for the proposed move.

The only stumbling block is the structure of the deal, as the Gunners would like to insert an obligation to buy into the loan deal, rather than an option.

The loan fee in itself would be small, but the Beneamata would pay 100 per cent of Mustafi’s wages for his 12 months in Milan.
