Shkodran Mustafi is delighted to be at the World Cup but will not consider his club future until the tournament is over.
The young Sampdoria defender enjoyed an impressive season at the Luigi Ferraris and has been linked with a move back to his native Germany.
However, speaking to journalists at Joachim Low’s team’s base in Brazil, he said he is not currently thinking about anything other than performing well for his country.

“Being here is an extraordinary experience and I am looking to take all I can from it for my career,” Mustafi said. “You can go to Ibiza every year but you can only go to a World Cup every four!
“I don’t know what will happen, we’ll see after the World Cup finishes. I want to concentrate on the World Cup at the moment.”
