“The transfer market for goalkeepers has changed in recent years and the prices paid for players in this role have gone up,” Musso told TNT Sports.

“I remained concentrated day after day, achieving good results. It’s very pleasing to hear about interest from Inter and it motivates me, regardless of how things end up.

“I have great affection for Udinese, but Inter is a club with such a strong history in world football and it’s exciting just facing them as an opponent.”

The 26-year-old is under contract with the Friulani until June 2023 and was snapped up from Racing Club Avellaneda for just €4m in 2018.

Musso is expected to command a price-tag of at least €20m over the summer.
