Uruguay international Fernando Muslera has claimed Diego Godin ‘is clearly worried’ about his situation at Inter.

The Galatasaray goalkeeper spoke about the uncertain futures of his two national teammates Godin and Edinson Cavani to the radio station Tirando Paredes.

“I don’t know exactly what Diego is going through at Inter, but he is clearly worried,” Muslera said. “He’s a pillar at the national team and needs to play. I’m sure his situation will be resolved shortly.”

Regarding Paris Saint-Germain forward Cavani’s future, he is in no doubt that the Matador will continue at a high level. The striker has been linked with a return to Serie A, with Inter among the possible suitors.

“I haven’t spoken to Edi about his future, but I have no doubt that he will soon find a great team and demonstrate all his worth.”
