Juventus tried to offer Moise Kean in exchange for Luis Muriel, but were rejected by Atalanta, while it’s reported the Bianconeri turned down Mauro Icardi from PSG.

The first choice remains Memphis Depay, who is trying to negotiate an early contract termination with Barcelona so that he can then sign a two-year deal in Turin worth €5m per season.

However, Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta dello Sport claim they are also examining other alternatives, especially with Kean punished in pre-season for tardiness.

It is claimed they offered Kean to Atalanta in exchange for Muriel, a proposal that was rejected outright by the Bergamo side.

Another option put forward to Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain is Icardi, the former Inter and Sampdoria centre-forward who has been frozen out and made to train with the reserve players by new coach Christophe Galtier.

On this occasion, it was the Bianconeri who replied they were not interested in the Argentina international.

Sky Sport Italia also reported this evening that Juve could try to snatch Giovanni Simeone from under Napoli’s noses, as Verona are prepared to let him go on loan for €3m with an option to buy for a further €12m.

  1. Dear lord, ive been making fun out of ac milan and inter this summer- were all in the same boat – gotta be a big joke

  2. What a shambles this club has become. Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern, unregistered Barca and Real Madrid all got their shopping done early. Enough time to get them prepared with their surroundings and ready for the new term. Atalanta are sharp and wise to not swap for a forward who cannot score open goals. Icardi is damaged goods but there are goals in him. If they brought in Wanda, she could be joint sporting director and complete the final piece of the shambolic puzzle.

  3. That lord allegri is writting very funny, I am everytime loughing, why he is so funny? Very good, very good and funny and clever person, its unbielievieble clever, more clever than everyone, fantastic good

  4. Chelsea got their shopping done early?! Are we pretending they’re not still in the market gagging for a CB, CM and CF?! Or is an 85m bid for Wesley Fofana just a bit of bants?

  5. Gibbie Smalls: what chelsea? Chelsea need to buy players, you go buy chelsea, cb wb wd rtb buy everything, go buy everything to chelsea

  6. Maybe it is a smokescreen. Imagine if Juve gets Icardi and gives him a 4 year deal gives him Rabiot’s deal plus bonuses for the wife. Never rule it out with their directors. They used to have a core of Italian’s and bringing in all these foreigners is not in line with their dna.
