Luis Muriel’s impressive form for Sampdoria has seen him earn a recall for Colombia along with five other Serie A players.
The striker has been called up for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Argentina next week.
There are six players who currently ply their trade in Serie A, though it would’ve been seven had Juventus winger Juan Guillermo Cuadrado not been suspended.
Muriel hadn’t been called by Colombia since the summer, when he missed a penalty in the Copa America quarter-final against Argentina.
