Luka Romero has failed to break into Stefano Pioli’s Milan squad and could leave on loan this month amidst interest from various Italian sides.

The 19-year-old Argentine forward, who was the youngest ever La Liga debutant back in 2020 with RCD Mallorca, joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer last summer after his contract with Lazio came to an end.

Romero has only seen 155 minutes of action across five appearances for Milan this term, starting in their Coppa Italia win over Cagliari, and has yet to establish himself in Pioli’s first team.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Romero is looking increasingly likely to leave Milan on loan this month and a handful of clubs have already requested information about a possible deal.

Salernitana are willing to pick up the teenager on loan and have approached the Rossoneri, whilst Lecce are considering making a move, although they’re trying to move in a more positive direction based on developing their own players.

Serie B side Como are also keen to snap up Romero, but this seems unlikely at this stage, with the Argentine talent preferring to return to Spain on loan instead.
