Chievo forward Paul-Jose M’Poku had surgery after fracturing his cheekbone in a collision with Felipe Melo.
The former Cagliari man came off decidedly worse from the coming together during Inter’s 1-0 victory at the weekend.
A statement confirmed M’Poku went under the knife for 90 minutes today to stabilise the fracture.
He is expected to be out of action for around three weeks.
