José Mourinho has offered his view on Juventus‘ 15-point penalty which the CONI Collegio di Garanzia temporarily revoked: ‘I’ve been in Italy for four years, not four days…’

The Bianconeri have bounced to third place in Serie A after CONI Collegio di Garanzia ruled on Thursday that FIGC has to re-evaluate the case and come back with a different and more specific verdict.

This means the Old Lady has leapfrogged Mourinho’s Roma in the Serie A table, although the Giallorossi remain in the top four with Milan and Inter currently out.

Mourinho had already discussed Juventus’ point penalty earlier in April, after a 1-0 win over Torino.

“Are you sure that Juve don’t have 59 points? That would put us fourth. We are in Italy,” he said.

On Thursday, after Roma’s qualification to the Europa League semis, Mourinho was once again asked by DAZN his thoughts on the verdict, this time, he replied: “They were given the points back three months ago, I’ve been in Italy in Italy for four years, not four days.”

Juventus and Roma have already met twice in Serie A this season, but they could reunite once again at the end of the campaign in the Europa League Final.

The Bianconeri will face Sevilla in the semis, while Mourinho’s Roma will meet Bayer Leverkusen.
