Sky Sport Italia claims that José Mourinho is pushing to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, so Fenerbahce have sent an opening offer for the Morocco international.

Turkish side Fenerbahce, coached by ex-Inter and Roma boss Mourinho, have sent a formal bid to sign Amrabat from Fiorentina.

Sky Sport transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Amrabat could leave the Stadio Franchi in the last days of the summer transfer window even if Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino hopes to keep the ex-Manchester United midfielder beyond the summer.

Amrabat was not involved in Fiorentina’s first summer friendlies but has recently been reintroduced, starting Serie A games against Parma and Venezia and playing the full 90 minutes in both matches.

Amrabat returned from a one-year loan spell at Manchester United in June after the Red Devils decided against making his move permanent.

Amrabat, one of the best players at the 2022 World Cup with Morocco, has two goals and three assists in 119 Serie A games with Fiorentina and Hellas Verona.
