According to multiple reports in Italy, José Mourinho argued with some journalists after the Rome derby and stormed out of his press conference.

It’s fair to say the Special One was quite disappointed as his side suffered the second defeat of the season against their city rivals Lazio.

Mourinho reacted to Roma‘s loss by gathering his players in the middle of the park for a motivational speech.

However, he could not hide his frustration during his post-match interviews as he blamed the referee and VAR in front of cameras saying they ruined the game with their decisions.

It wasn’t the end of a frustrating night for the former Tottenham and Manchester United boss.

According to several reports in Italy, the Special One stormed out of his post-match press conference after an argument with Sky Sport journalist Angelo Mangiante and other reporters.

Is it still unclear why Mourinho argued with the journalists, but surely he didn’t hold his post-match presser and left the conference room visibly irritated.

UPDATE: On Monday morning a video published by La Gazzetta dello Sport showed that the Special One didn’t hold a press conference because he didn’t agree with Lazio’s policy for post-match pressers.

  1. Made up story by the media, he didn’t. This is just to fuel the hate against Mou. The media is truly pathetic. Watch his post-match interview, he was disappointed, but he wasn’t angry. Just a pathetic made-up story.

  2. It has become a trend by the media to insticate Jose Mourinho. Jose is a professional but do you expect JM to be smiling after getting the raw end from the refree, VAR and the Media.
Losing is only a small setback, Jose will turn around the team. Roma will get back to winning ways.
