Mourinho returns from break: ‘Back to the office, to build a future for Roma’

Jose Mourinho has returned to Roma after a short break in London with his family. ‘Back to Rome, back to the office, and back to our promise’.

The Giallorossi are going through a difficult time, with only one win in their last seven games, but Mourinho stressed he is working for the future of La Lupa.

After the initial enthusiasm for Mourinho’s arrival, he is now going through the first rough patch in the Italian capital.

But the coach is currently preparing for this weekend’s important game against Genoa, with Roma currently sixth in the table.

They need to react to the back-to-back defeats to Milan and Venezia, and Mourinho is ‘back to the office’ preparing for the trip to Liguria.

“Back to Roma, back to the office, and back to our promise,” Mourinho wrote on Instagram. “Work hard and build a future for AS Roma.”

He also sent a message to Valentino Rossi, who had his last race in MotoGP on Sunday, before retiring after 26 years in the sport.

“By the way thanks a lot Valentino Rossi, for a legendary career.”
