Jose Mourinho reportedly rejected an approach from Chelsea as he waits to define his future with Roma.

The future of the 60-year-old Portuguese coach has been the topic of much discussion in recent months, with his current contract set to expire with the club in June of next year. He’s been linked with multiple jobs, including the Brazilian national team and Paris Saint-Germain.

Mourinho has reminded many of his quality in the dugout during his time with Roma, guiding them to their first ever major European title last season in the Europa Conference League. Things have been a little more difficult this campaign, but the Giallorossi are still in the Europa League semi-finals.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho was contacted by a Chelsea director, who wanted to discuss the possibility of him taking on the job in West London, adding him to the list of potential candidates.

The Portuguese coach made it clear that he had no interest in this, wanting to meet with owner Dan Friedkin and stay with Roma.
