José Mourinho has refused to discuss possible transfers for Roma in January as the Giallorossi have been linked with signing two new players, including Diogo Dalot.
The Special One held a pre-match press conference on the eve of Roma’s match against Udinese.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Special One has already informed the club that he needs two new signings in the January transfer window: one centre midfielder and one full-back.
Roma had been in talks with Arsenal to sign Granit Xhaka over the summer, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.
The Serie A giants ended the summer transfer window with no new faces in the middle of the park, so it is believed they will try to sign a new central midfielder in January.
Diogo Dalot has also been linked with a move to Roma where he would reunite with the Special One after their spell at Manchester United.
The Portuguese full-back returned to Old Trafford in the summer after a one-year loan spell at Milan. The 22-year-old has only played one Premier League game so far this season.
Mourinho, however, refused to provide updates about January transfers during today’s press conference.
“The transfer window is closed, you want to put me in the condition to talk, but I am not going to do it,” the Special One said as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb.
“I analyze situations, but I can’t share all my thoughts with you. I do not enter these dynamics.”
