Mourinho mocked on Twitter as Udinese humiliate Roma

José Mourinho was mocked on Twitter following Roma‘s 4-0 loss away at Udinese last night.

It was an unpredictable result at the Dacia Arena, where Roma had arrived on the back of three wins in four games and with just one goal conceded.

Roma were favourite but it turned out to be a nightmare for Mourinho’s men who conceded the first goal after barely five minutes and three more in the second half.

“This is the kind of day where the players need me. I told them what I told you, it is better to lose once 4-0 than four times 1-0,” Mourinho told DAZN after the final whistle.

“When you lose 4-0, you cannot talk about the referee, but when we heard this was the referee for the game, we realised he was the perfect referee for a team like Udinese to play at home. The first yellow card went to the artist of the match, that says it all.”

The Giallorossi boss was mocked on Twitter with some brilliant memes and funny pictures following the unexpected defeat in Udine.

The Giallorossi now have 10 points in five matches, one behind leaders Napoli and Milan. However, Atalanta can jump to the top of the table if they beat Monza away today.
