The Serie A sporting judge has confirmed one-match suspensions for various players and coach Jose Mourinho after the 19th round of Serie A action.
The recent round of matches saw Bologna and Genoa draw, Inter beat Hellas Verona, Monza hold on against Frosinone, Lecce and Cagliari share points, Sassuolo beat Fiorentina, Milan cruise to victory over Empoli, Lazio beat Udinese, Torino embarrass Napoli, Juventus clutch a win over Salernitana and Roma draw Atalanta.
Four players were shown red cards and 50 yellow cards were brandished, causing ramifications ahead of the next round of Serie A.
Sport Mediaset highlights how the Serie A sporting judge has confirmed the one-match ban for Pasquale Mazzocchi following his sending off on his debut against Torino, meaning he’ll miss the game against Salernitana.
Hellas Verona’s Darko Lazovic has been handed a two-game suspension following his red card in the controversial loss to Inter, whilst Juventus have lost Federico Gatti and Weston McKennie to yellow card suspensions.
Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, Salernitana’s Giulio Maggiore and Frosinone’s Pierluigi Frattali have all also been handed one-match yellow card suspensions.
Roma coach Mourinho will not be in the dugout for the coming clash with Milan after being sent off in the draw with Atalanta.
