José Mourinho expects new signings in the winter transfer window and has reportedly set sights on Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United players.

The Special One has been complaining about the squad’s depth lately. Therefore, he hasn’t rotated his squad much during the first months in charge of the Giallorossi.

Only 11 players have played more than 700 minutes in Serie A so far, while the remaining 12 has less than 320 minutes played each.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, José Mourinho looks to some of his former clubs to reinforce Roma in the January transfer window.

Tottenham’s Harry Winks, 25, is one of the players monitored by the Special One.

Mourinho has been looking for a midfielder for several months as the deal to sign Granit Xhaka over the summer collapsed.

Winks has played just seven games across all competitions with Spurs so far this season.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Antonio Rudiger are also on Mourinho’s radars.

Rudiger is a former Roma defender and his contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season.

Manchester United’s Digo Dalot has been heavily linked with a move to the Stadio Olimpico, as he has been struggling with playing time since returning to Old Trafford from Milan.

Mourinho is an admirer of Dalot and the Red Devils signed the Portuguese defender while his compatriot was in charge in 2018.
