Months after his dismissal from Roma, Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move to West Ham amidst increasing doubts about David Moyes.

The 61-year-old Portuguese coach was rather unceremoniously dismissed by the Giallorossi back in January, just days after the team suffered a painful 3-1 loss away to Milan, a result that left them ninth in the Serie A table. He was replaced by Daniele De Rossi, who has shined upon his arrival.

Mourinho has remained out of work since his Roma exit, attracting the attention of a number of clubs including Napoli, and he made it clear that he plans to return to the dugout in the summer, wanting to find a new club and project.

Mourinho back in London?

As reported by TeamTalk, Mourinho has been linked with the West Ham job as Moyes’ contract starts to draw to a close, expiring in the summer. The Portuguese coach has already spent time with Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham in the Premier League, and now may return with a new club.

The 61-year-old showed his abilities on the European stage with a limited budget at Roma, something that may prove appealing to the Hammers following their recent Europa Conference League victory.
